Most international flights arrive at Ponta Delgada Airport on São Miguel Island, the archipelago’s largest island, with just a few arriving at Lajes Airport on Terceira Island. Here is information on the airlines that offer flights between the Azores islands and several international destinations.

1. SATA Azores Airlines

SATA through its subsidiary Azores Airlines is the main airline to the Azores, offering more flights to more destinations than any other airline serving the archipelago. Service includes nonstop international flights between Ponta Delgada / Lajes and a number of destinations.

7. Air Europa

The Spanish Air Europa flies between Madrid – Barajas and Lajes, Terceira Island.
